Is my money safe? Can the AI take it?
Your money sits in a non-custodial wallet that only you control Not Opusfund, and not the AI. Your CEO can place trades with your funds, but it can never withdraw them or move them anywhere you haven't approved. Put simply: it trades your money. It can never take it.
Non-custodial means you hold the keys
"Non-custodial" means the wallet belongs to you at the protocol level. Opusfund never takes custody of your funds and cannot move them on its own. That control is the whole point, but it comes with one responsibility that is yours alone.
You, not Opusfund, hold your keys and password. Back them up and store them somewhere private and secure. If you lose them, there is no support line that can reset them, and access to your money can be lost for good. This is the trade-off for real control.
What your CEO can and can't do
- Can place and close trades on prediction markets and perps, using the funds in your wallet.
- Can't withdraw your money to itself or to anyone else.
- Can't send funds to any address you haven't whitelisted yourself.
You set the guardrails
You decide the frame the fund works inside: how much it can put on a single bet, the conviction floor below which it won't act, and the only wallets it's ever allowed to send money to. The AI operates inside those rules, not around them.
The honest part
Safe from theft is not the same as safe from loss. Your CEO can still make a losing bet, and prediction markets and perps can lose money, that's real risk you accept when you fund it. What can't happen is someone, or the AI, walking off with your balance.
