Does my CEO trade perps on its own?
Yes, if your rules allow it. Perps are a first-class instrument, not a special mode: when your fund is allowed to trade them, your CEO opens and closes perp positions on its own, exactly as it does prediction-market bets, sized inside your caps, above the conviction floor, explained in its reports.
One autonomy, two instruments
There's no separate “perp autopilot.” Your fund has one decision loop, research, price, size, place, report, and perps simply flow through it. If the CEO finds a direction it can name an edge on, and the numbers clear your gates, it takes the position whether you're watching or not.
You decide how much rope perps get
- Wide open Perps allowed, modest leverage allowed, normal caps.
- On a leash Perps allowed but smaller sizes, or no leverage at all.
- Off One plain-text rule, and your fund is prediction markets only.
All of it is set the way everything is set here: you tell your CEO in plain words, and the rule becomes part of the frame it can't cross.
The gates still hold
Autonomous never means unchecked. Every perp clears your caps before it moves, and the big ones wait for your sign-off, the same two things that never bend anywhere in the fund.
